ReServ24B delivers seamless power redundancy for security and access control systems

Brooklyn, NY (October 6, 2026) – Altronix,  the recognized leader in power and data transmission products for the professional security industry, has launched ReServ24B, an innovative automatic 24VDC transfer switch with built-in rapid battery charging designed to provide uninterrupted power and maximize system backup for critical security applications.

This new solution supports applications where constant power is unavailable due to power switching, or when extended battery charging is required. It ensures continuous operations during a power loss by supporting two 24VDC power supplies, instantaneously transferring from the first to the secondary power input to avoid interruptions.

When primary power is restored, ReServ24B automatically switches connected devices back to the primary power source while using excess available power to rapidly recharge SLA or LiFePO4 backup batteries, extending backup. This intelligent power management solution ensures 24/7 operation.

It can be easily integrated into new or existing security or access control systems to optimize battery backup and improve overall system resilience. ReServ24B also includes an Altronix LINQ™ Network Management Interface, enabling remote monitoring, control and reporting via Altronix LINQ2 network communication module.
